Frequently asked questions
How does booking actually work?
You send the journey details through the quote form. They go straight to our TfL-licensed operator, who checks availability across the fleet and confirms the driver, the car and a fixed price with you directly.
Do you only cover the areas listed on the site?
No. We're based in South West London and cover the whole of London — all 32 boroughs and the City — plus Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Middlesex and West Sussex. The fifteen areas with their own page are simply where we run most often and know the pickup detail best. Longer runs anywhere in the UK are quoted on request.
How far in advance should I book?
For a standard airport transfer, twenty-four hours is comfortable. For weddings, multi-car events, or anything during a major London event week, give as much notice as you can — availability, not price, is usually the constraint.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Arrivals are tracked against the flight number you give us, so the pickup time moves with the aircraft rather than the schedule. That is why the flight number field on the quote form matters more than it looks.
Is waiting time included?
A free waiting allowance after landing is standard — typically 45 minutes on international arrivals and less on domestic. The exact allowance is confirmed by the operator when they quote, since it varies by airport.
Can you collect from private airfields and FBOs?
Yes. Farnborough, Biggin Hill, Luton's FBOs, Northolt and the general aviation fields around the M25 are all served. Airside access needs arranging in advance, so tell us your handling agent when you enquire.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, with notice. Add the ages of any children in the notes field and the operator will allocate the right seat — it is a legal requirement, not an upgrade, so it is worth flagging at enquiry rather than on the day.
How is the price worked out?
By route, vehicle class, time of day and waiting time. Quotes are fixed before you travel, so an unexpected diversion or a slow M25 does not change what you pay.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Every journey is fulfilled by a TfL-licensed private hire operator, using licensed drivers in licensed vehicles with full private hire insurance. Licensing, insurance and driver vetting are checked by Transport for London, not self-declared.
Can you carry a large group?
Yes — up to sixteen in a single minibus, and above that as multiple vehicles departing together. Put the total head count and the luggage in the notes field, because eight people with eight suitcases and eight people with hand baggage are two different vehicles.
What is your cancellation policy?
Because the operator sets the price, they also set the cancellation terms, and those are stated in writing when they confirm your booking. As a rule, cancelling more than 24 hours before a standard transfer costs nothing, while prestige cars and multi-car events are booked on longer notice periods.
What happens to the details I put in the form?
They are emailed to our licensed operator so they can quote and confirm your journey, and a copy is kept in our enquiry inbox. Nothing is sold, and nothing goes to any other third party. The privacy policy sets out the detail, including how long it is kept and how to have it deleted.
