One car, all evening
Booked by the evening rather than the journey. The same car and the same driver stay with you from the first pickup to the last drop-off, waiting outside between stops — so an evening with four addresses in it does not become four separate scrambles for a ride, at four separate surge prices.
Held between stops
Dinner, then a bar, then home. The car waits rather than being re-booked, and nobody stands on a pavement at midnight.
Price fixed beforehand
Quoted for the evening in advance. It does not move because it started raining at 11pm or because it is New Year's Eve.
Everyone in one car
Up to seven in a people carrier, sixteen in a minibus. The group stays together and arrives together.

Birthdays and anniversaries
Collected from home, dropped at the restaurant, and taken home again — with the driver holding through the meal.
Theatre and the West End
Dropped at the door rather than a ten-minute walk away, and picked up from an agreed side street once the curtain is down.
Hen and stag evenings
Multiple pickups across different addresses, one arrival time, and a driver who has the whole night's plan in advance.
Christmas parties and corporate evenings
The month when nothing is available at 11pm at any price. Booked ahead, it simply isn't a problem.
Restaurant and club nights
Fixed price agreed up front, so the end of the evening involves no arithmetic and no surge multiplier.
Getting home safely
The reason most of these bookings exist. Nobody drives, and nobody is negotiating with an app in the cold.
Worth knowing
Evening hire is quoted by the hour with a minimum booking, because the car and driver are yours for the duration rather than dispatched per journey. Tell us the rough plan and the operator will quote the whole evening as one figure.
Add the stops you know about in the notes field. Plans change on the night and that is fine — the driver adapts — but a route sketched in advance gets you a better price than an open-ended one.
Drinking is expected; a mess is not. Vehicles are licensed private hire cars, and a soiling charge applies if one needs professional cleaning afterwards. It is in the terms and the operator states the amount when they quote.
Book December early. Availability in the second half of December is the constraint, not price.
